The company has manufacturing operations and headquarters in Sunnyvale, California; silicon purification operations at the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary 6N Silicon located in Ontario, Canada; and a state-of-the-art research and development center in Berlin, Germany. Calisolar was founded in 2006, began production in 2009 with high volume shipments in 2010. Calisolar is currently expanding capacity at both its Sunnyvale, California and Ontario facilities.

Wind to Power System ("w2ps") is a creator of new power control and conversion for the wind and solar industries. The company designs, supplies and installs a device designed for use in wind turbines to provide fault ride-through capability, enabling wind turbines to maintain grid connection during periods of transmission line faults and voltage dips. Wind to Power System is expected to be a leading market player as the first to receive certification from the Spanish Government for retrofit of wind turbines in Spain.
